DECLARATION
Due to the pandemic Covid-19, the 3rd ICoSA organizing committee is committed to taking into account the current development of the spread of the virus as your safety is our top priority. Thus, this year’s conference will be held as a virtual conference or remote presentation. We invite all agricultural stakeholders to meet virtually, encouraging the use of digitalization and communication technology to share ideas in pandemic covid-19 situation.
Theme
“Sustainable Development and Resilience in Agriculture”
Sustainable development is a global priority that, since 2015, has received renewed interest following the publication of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Agriculture must become sustainable (SDG-2), focusing on production systems that respect the environment and help to reduce climate change (SDG-12). Agricultural resilience is about equipping farmers to absorb and recover from shocks and stresses to their agricultural production and livelihoods. Some shocks are short-term, others long-term. Some come suddenly while others are predictable and some are more severe while others slowly erode farmers’ ability to farm
Scope
This conference focuses on the dissemination of recent studies related to the recent sustainable and resilient development in agriculture from five major aspects, namely sustainable agriculture, agricultural waste management, new agriculture inputs, alternative crops, and new technology. All papers submitted at this conference are strongly encouraged to explicitly imply the impact of its studies on the strengthening of innovation research in agriculture towards sustainable development goals.

The host of the 3rd ICoSA 2022 is the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Medan, Indonesia. The conference will be held from November 29-30, 2022 in Medan, Indonesia
Participants & Attendance
This conference is highly exciting and challenging and is intended to be a forum for the international community and stakeholders for discussion, ideas exchange, building and strengthening the connection and partnership, and sharing the achievement of the work. The conference invites academics, researches, policymakers, professional and other stakeholders to give opportunities to meet establish networking among participants as well as to increase of the importance of living and working in a manner that enhance the economic, environmental and social well being of our community and share the achievement of the work. The official language of the conference is in English and expected delegates from around the world to participate and attend the conference.
Publication & Indexing
All accepted and presented in the 3rd ICoSA 2022 will be published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science Indexed by Scopus.
Paper Submission
Guidelines
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit full papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, computational or theoretical works in 8 scopes of the 3rd ICoSA 2022. All papers submitted to this conference must be original contributions that are not currently submitted to any other conference, workshop, or journal during the review process.
